I’m sure you have heard by now that bitcoins have risen dramatically over the past few years. I got to thinking if I had put my money into bitcoins back in 2012 instead of opening my brick and mortar store… so I made a spreadsheet to calculate what could have happened… of course it made me sick..
Anyway,
Use this spreadsheet to keep track of your Bitcoin transactions… you could also use it for “what if” scenarios… For example, if you would have bought $100 in bitcoins every month for x amount of years. The spreadsheet will pull the data for whatever day you enter…
Keep in mind the DCA field is based on 1K a month… you can edit it to whatever you want. I chose this number because it was the average amount that I was in the hole each month I had my brick and mortar shop….. Some months it was much more, sometimes less… but the average was around 1K. Put the number you calculated in DCA and put it in the Bitcoin field.. this is the number of bitcoins you could have bought with that amount.. After this… click on Bitcoin at the top to calcuate your exact cost. All bitcoin price data is pulled from BitcoinAverage.com and updated in real time…
