When I first started out online in 2k, most of my income was from chat bots and email….Chat bots pretty much went the route of chat rooms. Not enirely though, they actually have evolved into something else that’s very similiar. But email has pretty much stayed the same… yes it’s evolved but it’s still the best way to increase traffic and sales on YOUR terms….. Even Facebook will email you if you’re not interacting with their site as much as they’d like you to.

Anyway, these are the open and clickthru percentages for one of my autoresponders. Could you imagine if you had a very large list? Traffic on demand on your terms… Focus on building your list, no matter the vertical you are in. There are so many things you can do once you have someone’s email… think retargeting…
No matter what you’re peddling, make email collection a priority.
